Enter the largest outdoor living room in Switzerland! The idea for the unusual project of a public «city lounge» came from the architect Carlos Martinez and the multimedia artist Pipilotti Rist.Talk about rolling out the red carpet - St. Gallen, Switzerland had the distinction of hosting this public rec room for the residents to enjoy; from sofas to dining areas to climbable "cars" for the kids, it's a surreal, yet friendly, project. We love the overhead shot of the city center with the red carpet slinking up to the edges of the facades - there is something very funny about seeing those trees "sprouting" up from the least natural looking of any ground cover ever.Now i let you enjoy some photos from this beautiful place:
